Block level awareness program on Crop Residue Management
Block-level awareness program on Crop Residue Management with around 150 participants was organised at KVK Hardoi-II. Dr. Pankaj Nautiyal, Sr. Scientist cum Head, explained the importance of crop residue management. Dr. Traloki Singh, SMS Agronomy, explained the use of bioformulations like Halo-CRD as alternative methods of CRM. Mr. Mohit Singh, SMS, Agricultural Extension, informed farmers about the harmful effects of burning crop residues, including air pollution, loss of soil fertility, and climate change
